Marriage is a lifelong journey, and it takes work to keep it strong.

Here are five more helpful marriage tips to help you and your spouse stay happy and connected:

  1. Be affectionate. Continue to hold hands, steal kisses, and give words of encouragement. Physical touch is important for maintaining intimacy in a marriage. Even a simple touch can remind your spouse that you love and care about them.
  2. Give 10. Give your spouse 10 minutes of undivided attention each day. Don’t talk about work, kids, bills, or your latest social post. Just focus on each other and enjoy each other’s company.
  3. Shake things up. Routine is boring. Do something different every now and then to make your marriage a little more interesting. Go on a weekend getaway, try a new restaurant, or take a cooking class together.
  4. Live your life. Give each other some personal space. Take some time to pursue your own hobbies or reconnect with friends. This will help you stay refreshed and fulfilled as individuals, which will benefit your marriage in the long run.
  5. Never stop dating. Just because you’re married doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. Make time for a date night at least twice a month. Go out to dinner, see a movie, or just stay in and cuddle up on the couch.

Following these tips can help you and your spouse create a strong and lasting marriage. Remember, marriage is a journey, not a destination. So enjoy the ride!

Here are some additional tips for a happy marriage:

Communicate effectively. This means being able to share your thoughts and feelings with your spouse in a clear and respectful way.

Be supportive. Be there for your spouse when they need you, and offer them your love and support.
Be forgiving. Everyone makes mistakes, so be willing to forgive your spouse when they do something wrong.

Be patient. Marriage is a lifelong commitment, so be patient with your spouse and with yourself.
If you follow these tips, you’ll be well on your way to a happy and fulfilling marriage.
