This coming Sunday marks the 14th of February which many love birds can’t wait to arrive. The ladies want to be treated like queens and the guys, well they know what they will get in return. Plus there are some women who really know how to make a guy feel special on Valentine’s day too. However, Valentine’s day is the worst nightmare for any single person as it reminds them of how lonely they are. Many therefore, find themselves trying to get back with their exes before that fateful day. They forget the drama and heart break that they went through after the split and thus they end up making grave mistakes. Here are reasons why you should not get back with your ex this Valentine’s day.
- He hasn’t changed
Do not let your loneliness make you go through another heart break. Just because it’s valentine’s day doesn’t mean you should give him/her a second chance. Enjoy it yourself by showing yourself some love. One thing you should know is that he hasn’t changed. If you ditched him/her due to cheating, disrespect, physical or emotional abuse…then whats makes you think that he/she has changed? Don’t be his/her booty call. You will regret it later much worse than before.
2. Your pals with abandon you
Do you remember how heart broken you were when he/she told you it was over? Do you remember how your pals had to come for a sleepover so that you wouldn’t drown yourself in the sink? Getting back with your ex will make your real pals very angry and might even abandon you. This is because despite how much they love you, they will get tired of seeing you sad and heartbroken. They will try to advise you against even the thought of giving him/her a second chance and if you do not listen, you will be on your own.
3. You will split due to the same reasons as the first time
Getting back with an ex is something that i would rather chock on my saliva than do. This is because, if she/he left you for someone else, then there’s no guarantee that won’t happen again. As they say, history repeats itself.
So, do not let Valentine’s day make you give that potato-faced ex of yours a chance. Treat yourself to a Spa day or hangout with your single friends. Its only some hours and the day will be over together with the fuss.
