5 STDs Which Affect Your Fertility

Most sexually transmitted diseases are caused by a virus and bacteria. Some of them can affect our fertility and it is important to know them.

According to studies published by Laboratory for Clinical and Epidemiological Virology, Belgium, not only sexually transmitted diseases cause infertility; they can also happen with other infectious diseases.

Some STDs that can affect your fertility are:

  1. Gonorrhea
  2. Chlamydia
  3. Syphilis
  4. Herpes
  5. Tricsomiasis

Most of these diseases have a cure and despite being infectious they may not recur. However, both Gonorrhea and Chlamydia go through an inflammatory process of the fallopian tubes, which could decrease the percentage of fertility in women.

Also, the virus could also affect man, it is important to treat any of these infections as soon as possible.

Today, technology surprises us and there are a number of alternatives to achieve procreation. These sexually transmitted diseases that affect your fertility may no longer do so
