Role Objectives
This role’s objective is to build up wildlife campaigning for World Animal Protection across the African continent.
The Campaign Manager Wildlife will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for public campaigning; building networks and support internally as well as externally.
The role aims to increase the organization’s overall campaigning activity in Africa, getting people across the continent engaged with its goals, while working in close collaboration with peers in Africa and globally.

In this role you will
lead the development, implementation and tactical delivery of the Wildlife campaigns working across Africa.
work with technical wildlife experts, researchers and investigators in World Animal Protection to commission and produce research and evidence that underpins the case for change for wild animals in Africa
drive change across traditional cultures to ensure animal welfare.
work with target partners in Africa to build a strong movement and network to deliver impact for wild animals and change through the wildlife campaigns, as well as representing the campaigns and World Animal Protection to the African public and media.

a campaigner with a passion for delivering change for wildlife, animal welfare, conservation, the environment and nature in Africa;
a strategist, someone that knows how to develop and deliver a strategy campaign in the African context, utilizing regional resources;
