On the Friday of 13th November in 2020, popular comedian and radio presenter Jalang’o, aka Felix Odiwuor, graduated from Daystar University in an emotion filled event.

Here are some key facts to note about Jalas event.

  1. Jalas works as a comedian as well as Kiss FM presenter and Youtuber
  2. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development from Daystar University in Nairobi.
  3. The event happened virtually and was streamed on multiple platforms
  4. He celebrated the event with a memorable quote – “The sacrifices, late nights and now we win! This is for you Dad I know you are smiling from heaven! Mum i told you I will do it! I will always make you proud!”
  5. His graduation was pushed from June to November due to Covid-19 pandemic.
  6. Jalang’o had previously noted that the decision to study Community Development on undergraduate degree was tied to his political ambitions in the 2022 general election.
