50 percent of the companies in the world use social networks to find workers. And, at the same time, one in three employers says they have rejected candidates for key positions based on information they found on the internet, including social networks.

Contents
1)Do not mix.2) Have the complete and visible profile.3) Choose a suitable photo.4) Update.5) Search for contacts.6) Participate in groups.7) Be active.

Only these two data show the protagonist that the networks have gained in the search and offer of employment. Likedin, the most specific, is used by 80 percent of organizations seeking talent.

But Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are also channels that make their contribution.

Seven basic tips for those who bet on using social networks to get a job:

1)Do not mix.

The first thing is to define if the social networks to be used will be for personal use or for professional exposure.

That will depend on whether the profile is public or private, the profile photo, and the publications that are made. They should not be mixed. The ideal is to segment what is published in each, but without forgetting that all can be subject to evaluation (screening).

2) Have the complete and visible profile.

Dedicate time to writing the content. Arming a detailed, specified and complete profile. Set it up in public mode, that way recruiters and colleagues can get in touch.

3) Choose a suitable photo.

The image acquires a high level of importance, because it is the visible face. It must be formal and appropriate to the work context.

4) Update.

The profile should never be considered finished and should be kept updated. There is always information to add and modify. Communicate the desired work objective.

5) Search for contacts.

The greatest job opportunities are given on the basis of visibility. Having contacts related to the job profile allows you to narrow the search within the desired parameters.

6) Participate in groups.

It is important to be part of the affinity groups, work exchanges and circuits of the profile of interest. In them, job offers are also disseminated, current information and specific data that can be useful when looking for a job.

7) Be active.

Social networks are a space that provides great visibility. It is fundamental to be in movement; interact with other users, comment on notes, share content and be constantly connected.
