It is possible that you are making some very frequent mistakes when looking for a job.

In the following list you will find what you should avoid if you want to get a job.

1.Lying

This is the most common mistake, the one that most commits people seeking work. You should never lie at any point of your CV, either in the experience, or in your training.

You can test all your skills and abilities or verify if the experience you say is there, and if they prove that you are lying you will be disqualified.

  1. Poor presentation of the CV

A well-written and synthesized Curriculum Vitae will open up many work options. For this you have to take into account the spelling, the order, the clarity in the writing.

  1. Presentation letters badly presented

The letters of references or recommendation can be great allies of our CV, as long as they are correctly written.

They should never be a repetition of your CV, they should be written in a direct style, with an extension of no more than two faces, with truthful information and related to the job offer.

  1. Arrogant attitude

You have to be as simple as possible, if you are one of the people who think they can do it or that there is nothing else you can learn. That kind of attitude, the only thing they will do is not get a job.

  1. Not preparing for the job interview

This is another of the most common mistakes. The job interview can be in two ways: group or individual.

Nerves can play tricks on you during the job interview, so it’s better to have self-control. You have to prove that you are the candidate they are looking for and that you meet all the requirements that the position demands.

It is important that you report on the company you want to enter, so you will show interest in getting that job. If you are going to carry out a group interview, you must know some dynamics, this you will find on the Internet.

  1. Neglecting the profile in social networks

You must be very careful with the photos you upload to your social network profiles (Instagram, Facebook)

Remember that on the Internet You can see everything, and many recruiters check that there is a good image on The network both of its employees, of those who will be. Avoid having photos with alcoholic drinks, at parties.

  1. Not showing interest

If you are interested in getting that job you will have to prove it and make it clear throughout this process. From the answers you will give in a questionnaire, which should be coherent and logical, always making clear your inclination for employment, to the positive attitude you should have during the interview.

The staff recruiter has to see at all times that you would like to access the job they are offering.
