Being more productive means getting more done in a reasonable amount of time. To do this and to avoid falling into procrastination , there are a few points of view applicable to our day to day life that can help us to be much more productive.

  1. Avoid procrastination . The best way is to start with the most unpleasant task you have to do that day. You can also fool yourself by creating false priorities.
  2. We are in the age of automation, and it would be best to install some tool to measure time . Essential. It should allow us to know how much time we spend on each task and be aware of how we manage that time for our benefit.
  3. Set daily goals and objectives . Goals that are clear and realistic. It would be nice if we could also make an action plan on how to do it.
  4. Avoid temptations and disconnect from social networks, instant messaging, not spend a lot of time looking at email, etc. Anything that could mean an important source of time wasting.
  5. Establish habits and schedules .
  6. Being motivated is essential for our productivity to grow.
  7. Focus on one task at a time . If we dedicate our attention to different tasks at the same time, we will end up leaving them all half done. Jack of all trades, master of none.
  8. Do a daily Scrum where the tasks to be carried out during the day will be discussed and discussed.
  9. It can also help us a lot to notice what hours of the day we are more productive and which less. Some people work better in the morning and others in the afternoon, find yours and take advantage of it to get the most out of it.
  10. It is highly advisable to set a series of breaks a day and disconnect to recover strength and desire.

Other points to keep in mind to be more productive are:

  • That productivity is demonstrated in execution.
  • That to be more productive the main thing is to want to be.
  • Responsibilities cannot be avoided.
  • you have to be willful
  • Trust in yourself.
  • Define your goals well.
  • Not giving up.
  • Try to improve every day.
  • Use a task manager to manage the day of our chores.
