The courtship period is a very important period. It’s a period you lay the foundation for your marital journey. It’s also a period to have honest and truthful conversations.

Are you in a serious relationship that’s heading towards marriage? Are you in courtship and there are things that will threaten the existence of the marriage if eventually discovered do not hide it, the earlier you tell the whole truth, the better.

  1. Have you married before? Tell.
  2. Do you have a child(ren) from your previous marriage or out of wedlock? Tell.
  3. You can’t conceive because you don’t have a womb, you don’t a vigina or as a result of a medical condition? Tell.
  4. You can’t impregnate a woman because you are impotent, suffering from erectile dysfunction, low sperm count, weak erection? Tell.
  5. You have a life threatening infectious disease or sickness like cancer, HIV/AIDS, STDs, etc? Tell.
  6. Do you have a weakness that your struggling with, weaknesses like alcohol, smoking, womanizing, manizing, etc? Tell.
  7. You know yourself better. Any secret that you know will bring problems if discovered, for your own good, tell the truth.


Tell your partner the whole truth so the person will be making an informed decision, so that the person will know from onset what he’s venturing into and no one will accuse you of deception


Tell The Truth. Hide Nothing.

  1. Tell truth will set you free. The truth liberates.
  2. You will be free from the wahalas that come with hiding a secret. It takes more effort to hide a lie than it takes to tell the truth. It take more lies to hide a lie. You will just be stressing yourself by hiding a lie. I’m you don’t want your mom or dad to call you her or his nephew or cousin.
  3. Your heart will not cut every now and then. You can imagine the emotional trauma that woman will be going through anything the son visits. Her heart will just be cutting anyhow.
  4. You will enjoy peace of mind. When you tell the truth, your heart will give you peace. A heart at peace is like a medicine to the body.
  5. When you tell the truth, your partner is likely to love and trust you the more for being honest.
  6. Tell the truth because it’s the right thing to do. Your partner deserves to know the truth. Don’t wait for your partner to discover the truth himself or herself.
  7. You will lose their trust forever, your marriage may end, they will feel traumatized and betrayed by you. Tell the whole truth.
