9 Famous Kenyans Who Died At 14 Riverside Attack

Death was recorded to be 21 people by 17th January 2019 while 19 others were left unaccounted for in a terror attack that left hundreds injured and the whole country terrified.

Among the dead, are 7 prominent Kenyans we have shared below.

1.Jame Oduor aka Odu Cobra

He was a strong football fanatic and player, upon his sudden death, he was celebrated by top celeb friends including Larry Madowo from BBC and musician Kristoff and sports reporter Carol Radull.

He also worked as a PR practitioner.

2. Abdalla Sheikh Mohamed Dahir

He was a brother to Feisal and together died on spot. Abdalla was aged 33 years old.

3.Feisal Rashid

Aged 31 years old, he was having lunch with brother Abadalla at the feted hotel before the attack that began at around 3pm.

They both worked for Adam Smith International (ASI)

4. Bernadette Konjalo

She was a receptionist at the hotel during the attack.

The beautiful lady met her killers at Dusit D2 hotel.

5.Luke Potter

Took his last breath moments after moving from Britain to Nairobi to work with a charity firm, Gatsby Africa as their Africa programmes director.

6.Jason Spindler

The American tech CEO, who survived 11 September World Trade Centre terror attack in New York in 2001  was also among the 21 victims of attack

7. Japhet Ndunguja Nuru

He was a police officer among those who had gone to rescue the victims who were under attack.

He passed on while on the line of duty

8.Tish Mutindi Wanjiku

She was a former USIU student and left behind a very little daughter.

9. Dennis Mwaniki

Dennis Mwaniki Munene aka Legrand was one of the victims who also did not make it out of the hotel attack.

He was a  member and Past President year 2016 -2017 at Rotaract Club of Nairobi Central
