We are looking for 10 talented Data Entry Clerks to input data into our database systems. Our ideal candidates have essential data entry skills, like fast typing and VERY keen to details. You will work with a data team and data manager. Previous experience as a data entry clerk or similar position will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Insert data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
- Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
- Keep information confidential
- Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
- Comply with data integrity and security policies
Minimum Requirements
- Form Four KCSE Certificate
- MUST HAVE access to a desktop computer or laptop
- MUST HAVE internet access
- WILLING to work remotely from home
- Keen to details
- Easily work well in a team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Typing speed and accuracy
- Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Confidentiality
- Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
- Availability to work full time at least 40 hours/week
- Ability to attend 1 day training on our database systems at our office premises
