Take away the “but”, better say “Why”
Studies show that “but” is one of the words that most people say and that should be removed from our conversations.
Moving it to the business level, “but” is the prelude to a point with which you are not totally satisfied, “Congratulations on increasing sales, but …”, “I like that proposal but …”.
Change the “I have to” for the “I want”
Another word is “I have to.” Even if it is an unpleasant act, they are things that you have actually chosen to do and must be aware of. Making the change from “I have” to “I want” also eliminates a problem, because you see things as they really are.
“It cannot”
More than a word it is a phrase that predisposes you to failure. It is feeding fear and uncertainty. If you are going to do things thinking that “you can’t” it is better not to try hard, and not try.

If something has gone wrong, the best learning you can get from there is to learn from your mistakes and take your share of the responsibility for the failure.
“It was lucky”
“It was luck”, “I was lucky”, “it was a matter of luck” and its variants are very similar phrases and lead to the same thing: luck is a random fact. When you attribute a good result to luck, you are belittling and leaving aside the preparation of the person, the team, the company, the development of the product or the service or the previous work done.
There are those who say that luck does not exist and is only the result of our actions.
