As they have been in the market for longer, the latter tend to make fewer mistakes and have a broader view of the area in which they operate. However, these differences can be easily reduced if the youngsters take some action.

One is reading books. Even if works are not the solution, they can make young people acquire more knowledge and, consequently, become more aware of the issues surrounding entrepreneurship. If you just entered the market and need some guides, see the following books:

1- “How to Win Friends and Influence People”, by Dale Carnegie

In addition to teaching entrepreneurship, the book gives advice on what is positive or negative for having a social life. The main point developed is how to overcome the competition, how to dialogue with people who cannot change their opinion or are simply not exactly in the interest of the young entrepreneur.

2- The Psychology of Selling by Brian Tracy

As one of the most required skills of entrepreneurs is the ability to sell, this book teaches the reader how to be convincing to sell the desired product, in addition to the image and idea behind it all. Many young people in the field tend to forget the basic criteria for selling and want results more quickly than can happen.

3- “Who Moved My Cheese? An Amazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life ”, by Spencer Johnson

Easy to read, the work encompasses the personality of four different personalities and the way they handle the work they do. Young people will be enticed to become more flexible in decision making to achieve the dreams and goals they aim for.

4- “Who Moved My Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon LechterAn Amazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life”, by Spencer Johnson

Johnson writes in a didactic way so that young entrepreneurs understand everything they need about financial education. It teaches how to achieve business success by analyzing money in a cold way, which no one usually learns during the academic period.

5- “Rich Woman”, by Kim Kiyosaki

The author invests in writing mostly for the female audience, to inform them about the power of money and how they can get their own. Kiyosaki teaches women of all ages to create an income, invest in the right issues, how to participate in business and how to apply the knowledge acquired over time. The main objective is to make these people financially independent.

6- “Thinking, Fast and Slow”, by Daniel Kahneman

The publication focuses on the entrepreneurs’ emotional and logical systems, both essential to being a good professional. The author analyzes the effects of each of them on a daily basis and helps young people to better understand the professional universe.

7- “The Startup of You: Adapt to the Future, Invest in Yourself, and Transform Your Career”, by Reid Hoffman

The author of this book is the co-founder of LinkedIn and teaches the keys to managing a successful career as an entrepreneur. The main idea is to make the young person think with a head of leadership, even when he is still someone’s employee. This way, you’ll be able to know what employees need and how the boss should think.

8- “The 4-Hour Workweek”, by Timothy Ferriss

According to the work, it is possible to become an entrepreneur without working frantically, besides being able to enjoy life. The idea advocated is that you will be able to build a successful business by working just enough and building a fortune.

9- “The $ 100 Startup”, by Chris Gillebeau

This book is ideal for those who are unmotivated by the lack of funds to create their own business. The plot of the work has 50 stories of successful entrepreneurs who started with very little money and now earn more than $ 50,000. According to Gillebeau, you need to have the idea, the passion and the rest happens naturally.

10- “Click Millionaires”, by Scott Fox

The focus is on how to use online marketing to profit from publications. The author teaches how to create a business on the internet, through tools accessible to anyone. This way you can learn more about the subject and how to use the software available to your advantage.
