1. PLAN IN DETAIL2. DON’T COMMIT TOO MUCH3. TEST THE MORNING FOR HOMEWORK

Although it is very common to find university students looking for a job or a part-time job, some secondary school students are also already in the job market.

However, this should not be a reason to neglect studies. If you are having difficulty reconciling all these tasks, learn to plan your studies considering your job obligations:

1. PLAN IN DETAIL

If when you were just a student you needed planning, now that you have a job, that is even more necessary. Be specific about all the tasks at hand and stay true to your schedule. Schedule periods for school, work and study. Also include leisure time, where you can have fun the way you like best. Your brain still needs a period of inactivity and after so much effort, you deserve it.

2. DON’T COMMIT TOO MUCH

Do not take on more tasks than you can actually accomplish, both at work and in your academic life. Remember that when committing to a job, you must surrender to achieve the best possible performance without neglecting your studies. If you think you will not be able to lead a project at work or school, refuse it.

3. TEST THE MORNING FOR HOMEWORK

Consider the morning period to study and do your homework. You may think it won’t be productive to wake up an hour early for this, but many people do their jobs better in the morning. Test for a week. If it doesn’t, try to find another, more productive period.
