On 12th Friday early morning of February, a heinous accident occurred around Gilgil in Nakuru county involving a matatu and a truck.
According to the eye-witness, the accident happened when the driver of the truck tried to overtake but failed and collided with the oncoming matatu.
John Oditi, Police Sub-county commander confirmed that nine people died while the driver of the truck escaped with minor injuries.
