It is not the first time Karen Nyamu is enjoying limelight in 2021.
In 2017 general election, she was a popular Kenyan especially in Nairobi when she vied to fly Jubilee ticket for Nairobi Women Rep post.

- Besides law, she works as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Nairobi Water and Sewerege Company
- Karen is not married neither does she have a husband, however she has fathered a baby girl with Daddy DJ Kevin and a son with musician Samidoh
- Karen Nyamu was largely called names such as gold-digger, homewrecker due to her dating status.
- Karen Nyamu is alleged to have had a love affair with late Jacob Juma, but their love never went beyond two months.
- Later, she is said to have dumped Jacob Juma and moved on with new catch, Deputy President William Ruto.
- Jacob Juma and DP Ruto had a scuffle publicly about some money to build the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret. Kenyans thought it was a financial scandal but it wasn’t. It was a booty scandal.
