On 30th March in 2023, more than 14 people were reported dead after a road accident involving a Pwani University bus and matatu at Kayole area on the Naivasha-Nakuru highway.
The bus was heading to Eldoret for school games before being involved in the grisly accident.
It was reported that the break failed causing the drive to have no ability to contain the bus.
