KAA has established a one (1) year internship/ apprenticeship program, which aims at exposing degree/diploma/certificate holders joining the labour market to a real work environment in order to enhance their employability by creating clear linkage between education, training and work.
The program is open in the following stations and functions of the Authority; Head Office, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Moi International Airport (MIA), Wilson Airport (WAP), Eldoret International Airport (EIA), and Kisumu International Airport (KIA);

Requirements and Qualifications
For consideration to the internship/apprenticeship program, a candidate must have;
a) Diploma/ Certificate in Civil, Building, Electrical, Electronics, Electro- Mechanical, Mason, Plumber, Mechanic, and Carpentry.
b) Relevant Degree in Finance, ICT, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Law, Procurement & Logistics, Supply Chain Management.
c) Graduated within the last two (2) years and not more than twenty-six (26) years and twenty- eight (28) years of age for PWDs.
d) Recommendation/reference letter from University/ College attended.

• Be a person of Integrity
• Must be goal oriented, dynamic, self- motivated and passionate individual
• Possess excellent Interpersonal and communication Skills
• Must be a team player and have the ability to solve problems
• Be proficient in computer skills
