Jomo Kenyatta International Airport’s (JKIA) Terminal 1E faced a temporary closure due to a minor fire incident caused by an electrical fault on a Monday morning. The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) swiftly responded to the situation, ensuring that safety protocols were enacted without any injuries or casualties reported.
In a statement released by KAA, it was confirmed that the fire was contained promptly, affirming their commitment to maintaining a secure environment within the airport premises.
