Henry DeSagu, a beloved Kenyan comedian and social media influencer, has spoken out to dispel growing rumours about his health after reports emerged about a concerning incident. The speculation began when DeSagu was reportedly seen along the Thika-Ngoingwa-Mangu Road appearing disoriented and talking to himself. The situation quickly gained attention after a well-wisher, Mwalimu Francis Njiriri, and passersby intervened to help and took him to Thika Level 5 Hospital for immediate care.

Reassuring Fans: “Everything Is Fine”

In response to the swirling rumours, DeSagu took to his social media platforms to set the record straight. In a heartfelt video, the comedian assured his fans that he was in good spirits and good health. “Team Mwihoko, team umbwedede tunasema mambo iko best. King of Mwihoko ako hapa na ako ngangari bila ngori yoyote,” he said, reassuring his followers that he was fine and there was no cause for alarm.

Despite DeSagu’s attempts to calm the concerns, some fans expressed skepticism in the comments section. One user, Mca Karis, commented, “The video can tell the guy ain’t okay,” while another, Brian Suji, urged, “Bro chorea story za online, enda mahali utulie tu fiti bana. Mental health ni kila kitu.” Angiey Trizah added, “The first process of healing is acceptance. Don’t be influenced by friends telling you otherwise.”

Details of the Incident

According to reports by TUKO.co.ke, Mwalimu Francis Njiriri noticed DeSagu on the road and quickly realized that something was amiss. With the help of bystanders, Njiriri managed to guide the comedian into his vehicle and transport him to Thika Level 5 Hospital. Dr. Catherine, an on-call psychiatrist at the facility, provided immediate medical assistance.

Njiriri expressed gratitude to all who played a role in ensuring DeSagu’s safety during the incident. “It was heartwarming to see the community come together for someone who brings joy to many through his craft,” he noted.

Mixed Reactions from Fans

While many supporters shared well-wishes and prayers for DeSagu’s continued health, some remained unconvinced about his condition. Joy Pinchez wrote, “Umedanganywa na hawa besty zako udanganye uko sawa na hauko sawa,” implying that friends might be influencing him to deny any issues. Nancy GM added, “He was rescued and you’re telling people ‘waache kuongea mingi’? Where were you when he was roaming in the middle of the road?”

However, others, like Kanyago Chapd, stood by DeSagu’s statement, writing, “Henry DeSagu ako sawa, very natural. Met with him earlier, sijui watu wanaongea mingi wakisema nini.”

Support and Hope

Messages of hope and support poured in, with Mwangi Moses commenting, “God akuprotect King of Mwihoko.” Fans continue to rally around the comedian, hoping for clarity and, if needed, a path to recovery.

DeSagu’s openness in addressing the situation highlights the importance of mental health conversations, especially among public figures. While the details surrounding the incident remain a topic of debate, DeSagu’s reassurance offers comfort to his loyal supporters as they await further updates.
