Azziad’s Absence and Return

Azziad, who had taken a break from her radio duties amid mental health struggles and debt allegations, had been noticeably missing from her show. However, her colleagues have now confirmed that she will be back on air at 10 a.m. on the Habari Shuffle show.

“She’s back! Azziad is finally back on Sound City. She’s been trending, and everyone has had so much to say about her. The first thing she wants to do is address the nation and answer all your questions,” one of the presenters excitedly shared.

Another colleague acknowledged that Azziad had been going through a tough time and emphasized that this would be her opportunity to share her journey openly. “She’s been dealing with a lot, but now she’s ready to let you hear her side of the story,” they added.

Debt Allegations and Social Media Buzz

Azziad’s name has recently made headlines after blogger Edgar Obare shared claims from anonymous sources accusing her of failing to repay borrowed money. One accuser alleged that she borrowed KSh 400,000, promising to return it in three days, but never did. Another, TikToker Mary Musyoka, claimed she lent Azziad KSh 300,000 when she was in distress abroad but was also not repaid.

Additionally, Obare released audio recordings allegedly of Azziad, in which the speaker discussed financial and personal struggles.

Fans’ Reaction to Her Comeback

Following the announcement of her return, fans expressed their excitement and support on social media. Many flooded the comment section with messages welcoming her back and praising her resilience.

“The queen is bouncing back,” one fan wrote, while another added, “We love her to the moon and back!”

Azziad’s Message to Critics

In a previous statement, Azziad defended herself against critics who questioned the source of her success. She attributed her achievements to hard work and divine blessings, dismissing claims that she relied on influential men for her rise to fame.

With her return to Sound City, all eyes will be on Azziad as she finally breaks her silence and sets the record straight. Fans will be eagerly tuning in on March 7 to hear her side of the story.
