Cabinet Secretary Wycliffe Oparanya is celebrating a proud family moment after his son, Brandon Ambetsa, graduated from Princeton University with a degree in IT and Finance. The elated father flew overseas to attend the graduation ceremony and mark the significant achievement with a memorable photo alongside his son.

Brandon’s brother, Ian Oparanya, shared the touching moment on social media, congratulating his sibling and expressing gratitude for the blessings their family has received. “God has blessed our family again! So proud of my brother Brandon Ambetsa for graduating from Princeton University (Ivy League) with a degree in IT and Finance. He will definitely be a great man❤️,” Ian wrote.

Brandon’s graduation from one of the most prestigious Ivy League institutions marks a major milestone not only for him but for the entire Oparanya family. It reflects the value they place on education, hard work, and excellence. Brandon’s academic journey was met with unwavering support from his family, and his success underscores their commitment to nurturing achievement.

Wycliffe Oparanya, a well-known political figure in Kenya, has always valued education, and his son’s academic success stands as a testament to that legacy. The joy of watching a child graduate from an Ivy League school is a reward that few parents get to experience, and Oparanya made sure to be present for that proud father-son moment.

The family’s celebration was widely admired online, with Kenyans flooding social media with congratulatory messages. Many praised Brandon’s hard work and the strong support system he has in his family. Rachel Amua wrote, “Congratulations to Brandon, one of our own.” Anne Mulwale added, “Congratulations to Brandon for the good work, congratulations to waziri and Tabby my friend.” Others like Aggrey Osundwa, Charles Alila, and Viviane Kiplagat also sent heartfelt congratulations.

Wycliffe Oparanya, who has 11 children from his two marriages, introduced them during a family ceremony, highlighting their various accomplishments and professional paths. Brandon, one of the children from his first marriage to Priscilla, has now joined the list of his children making great strides in their careers.

As Brandon steps into the next chapter of his life, armed with a world-class education and grounded by the values instilled in him by his family, his future appears exceptionally bright. His success is a reflection of personal determination and a family’s collective dedication to excellence.
