Socialite Amber Ray and comedian Oga Obinna are at the centre of an ongoing public controversy after Amber exposed private chats showing Obinna allegedly trying to arrange a questionable meeting between her and a wealthy friend. Amber Ray recently shared screenshots of her 2022 private messages with Oga Obinna on Instagram. In the chats, Obinna proposed that Amber meet a rich friend of his who had seen her photo on his status and expressed interest. “Hey.. I have a message for you. A rich friend of mine wants to have a coffee with you. He is a private guy…” Obinna wrote. Obinna responded by claiming that Amber only shared part of their exchange to sway public opinion. “That’s like three years ago. The person that I was three years ago is not the person I am now… She has even shared part of the receipts to drive a conversation in a certain direction.” He also revealed that he chose not to release his own receipts out of respect for Amber’s current partner, Kennedy Rapudo.
