Kenyan music recorded strong audience growth in 2025. Fans streamed millions of views across genres. The results show how diverse the local music scene has become and how artists are using digital platforms to reach wider audiences. The list below reflects total YouTube views recorded in 2025 and shows clear shifts in popularity and listening patterns.

Sofiya Nzau led the year with 147 million views. Her rise shows strong demand for Kikuyu music and consistent global reach. Bien followed with 108 million views driven by his solo projects and steady release schedule. Prince Indah ranked third with 86 million views as his Luo sound maintained a loyal and active fan base.

Willy Paul closed the year with 85.2 million views. Toxic Lyrikali reached 73.8 million views through aggressive release strategies and a fast growing audience. Otile Brown earned 65.6 million views. Sauti Sol registered 59.2 million as fans continued to revisit their catalog after the group took a break.

Gospel and regional acts remained strong. Msanii Group reached 56.7 million. Guardian Angel recorded 53 million. Wakadinali earned 52.6 million as rap maintained a stable following. Iyaani reached 50.6 million. Katombi Alex followed with 43.9 million. Nyashinski earned 40.8 million with limited releases that still performed well.

Sammy Irungu reached 38.1 million. Bensoul had 36.9 million. Bahati followed closely with 36.8 million. Matata registered 36.5 million. John De Mathew’s catalog continued to perform with 37.4 million views. Wilberforce Musyoka had 34.3 million. Stephen Kasolo reached 33.6 million. Dr Sarah K earned 32.1 million. Vicky Brilliance recorded 28.3 million.

Vijana Baru Baru closed with 27.9 million. Watendawili earned 27.8 million. Fathermoh reached 26.2 million. Okello Max hit 26.1 million. Khaligraph Jones had 25.5 million. Dufla followed at 24.7 million. Samidoh reached 24.2 million. Mejja recorded 23.5 million. Shiro Wa GP had 23.1 million. Ssaru earned 22.1 million.

Nadia Mukami closed with 21.6 million. Dyana Cods reached 19.6 million. Charisma had 18.5 million. Sean Mmg recorded 17.5 million. Buruklyn Boyz earned 13.9 million. Savara also had 13.9 million. Phyllis Mbuthia reached 13.5 million. Jose Gatutura recorded 11.8 million. Evelyn Wanjiru had 11.6 million.

Ethic reached 11.5 million. Arrow Bwoy earned 11.5 million. Breeder LW had 10.8 million. Njerae followed with 10.7 million. Ndovu Kuu reached 9.7 million. King Kaka earned 9.4 million. Nviiri recorded 8.9 million. Nikita Kering reached 8 million. Bridget Blue had 7.91 million.

Octopizzo earned 7.81 million. Tipsy Gee reached 7.8 million. Abongo Jakabwana had 7.8 million. Lil Maina matched the figure with 7.8 million. Kodong Klan recorded 7.3 million. Boutross had 6.92 million. Maandy reached 6.38 million. Scar Mkadinali earned 6.3 million. Gody Tennor had 6.2 million.

Devrix Da Fubu reached 4.57 million. Boondocks Gang earned 3.14 million. Xeniah Manasseh had 3.05 million. KRG The Don recorded 1.35 million. Stevo Simple Boy closed the list at 555k.

These numbers show strong competition. They also show how Kenyan audiences support a wide mix of genres. Artists who release consistently and build strong digital communities continue to dominate. The trend is clear. YouTube remains a powerful driver of visibility and career growth for Kenyan musicians.
