Lenana Kariba, the actor behind Nick in the hit series Single Kiasi, has returned to Nairobi to film Season 4, leaving behind the quiet life he has built in the United Kingdom. Fans were left reeling after Season 3 ended with Nick entangled in a scandalous cliffhanger with Sintamei, raising questions about what would happen to Rebecca and Nick’s relationship. Season 4 finds Lenana back in Kenya with a clearer understanding of his character and where Nick’s story might lead.

In an interview, Lenana spoke calmly about his life and career, revealing that his move to the UK was motivated by love rather than professional ambitions. He met his now-wife, Helen, and decided to follow her back to the UK. “Honestly, moving to the UK was never on my vision board,” he says. “I met my now wife, and before I knew it, she had to head back. Something just told me everything would be okay.” He describes his life there as one of his happiest surprises and a chapter that unfolded unexpectedly but beautifully.

Despite living thousands of kilometers away, Lenana continues to land Kenyan acting roles, crediting the Single Kiasi production team for their patience and support. He juggles travel and tight schedules, flying to Kenya for three intense weeks of filming Season 4 before returning to London to resume fatherhood and family life.

Season 4 pushes Nick into his most vulnerable point yet. His relationship with Rebecca faces high stakes, and while Nick tries to be sincere, challenges continue to test him. “I feel like it could be cut right down the middle,” Lenana says. “As much as he tries to be honest, there are some things he could have done better.” Lenana emphasizes that Nick’s defining trait is sincerity and that he genuinely loves Rebecca despite the odds stacked against him.

Family drama escalates in this season as well. Nick’s mother takes a step back, and a new family member, his Auntie, enters the scene, bringing tension into his relationship with Rebecca. Lenana teases that Nick is learning to stand up for his love as old obstacles resurface.

One scene Lenana is particularly proud of is an emotional love scene that captures Nick’s growth and vulnerability. On a lighter note, he recalls his first appearance on the show in a club scene where he had to crouch for the camera’s eye line, a moment that still makes him laugh.

Off-screen, Lenana enjoys simple pleasures. He and Helen are raising their two-year-old daughter and he maintains favorite snacks like Chicken Inn spicy wings. While international projects are in his sights, his focus remains on family and balancing career with fatherhood.

As Single Kiasi Season 4 unfolds, Lenana brings Nick back to Nairobi with a character ready to fight for love and navigate new challenges, blending the drama fans love with a personal story grounded in sincerity and growth.
