Kenyan musician Bien-Aime Baraza has revealed why he initially hesitated to hire his wife, Chiki Kuruka, as his manager, and how the decision has strengthened both his career and their marriage. Bien appointed Chiki as his manager after Sauti Sol announced a hiatus. He credited her for helping him navigate his transition into a solo career, especially during periods of anxiety and imposter syndrome. “When I was transitioning from a band to a solo artiste last year, I had too many bouts of anxiety and imposter syndrome, and she helped put me in a good mindset and perspective,” he said. Bien also spoke about their shared approach to wealth and family. He stressed that everything he owns is equally hers and that they are building a future together for their children. “We are building the future of our home. Our children, who we are about to have,” he added, underlining their joint commitment to family and career.
