Emotional state and food are closely related. There are people who eat for anxiety and, at the same time, there are foods that are able to relieve anger and stress.

That’s why Charles Spence, a researcher at Oxford University, has created this app that recommends that we should eat to improve our mood.

The app scans the user’s face to detect their emotional state by analyzing parameters such as smile, frowning … and then recommends to everyone that food is the one that is best for you.

Thus, dark chocolate or nuts, because of their high magnesium content, could be very effective for people suffering from sadness, anger or panic. While the derivatives of wheat and legumes would be perfect for those who are anxious.
