Standard Gauge railway has gone to the books of history for being the most expensive project a Kenyan government has ever done, with a budget bulging its way beyond 450 billion shillings.
Similarly, the same project has written another soft record of employing and actively engaging 8 young and pretty girls in a core activity of such a complicated process.
The 8 college girls will be literary driving the passengers from Nairobi to Mombasa and vice versa.
But before that, they went through vigorous training, with many having to master Chinese, a language regarded as the most difficult to learn and adopt.
The train is expected to start an operation as from 1st of June 2017, with Uhuru Kenyatta launching it on 31st of May 2017
