Diamond Platnumz had confirmed the attendance of Ivan Ssemwanga’s burial which was scheduled at Kayunga District, Central Uganda. But later snubbed the event just for Koroga Festival.

Diamond explained that he had to snub the burial for the sake of his fans in Nairobi who were waiting for his performance at Carnivore grounds, Nairobi.

So, lakini nliongea na mzazi mwenzangu (Zari) akanielewa, lakini nikimaliza hapa show tu na ntaenda Uganda kwasababu ya mazishi, kuzika. Baada ya hapo ndo ntarudi nyumbani,”

Ivan Ssemwanga was the immediate former husband to Zari Hassan, who is now married to Diamond. Zari had 3 kids with Ivan but now she has 2 kids with Diamond.

Ivan died after he lost the battle with life through a life supporting machine, Steve Biko Hospital,Pretoria in South Africa.
