Brazilian born head coach for Gor Mahia FC, Jose ‘Ze Maria’, assistant Sandro Fantoni have resigned today 4 days after winning inaugural Super Cup in Tanzania.
The coach, had in his bag two cups, GoTV shield and the one that was won in Tanzania and a round of stellar performance, besides beating their biggest rivalries AFC Leopards 3 times within his short term reign.

Zi Maria however failed to win a local cup, KPL which is highly valued in Kenya.
Assistant coach Zedekiah “Zico” Otieno assumed his role immediately.
