Borussia Dortmund have given an ultimatum to their striker, Gabon Pierre Emerick Aubameyang to decide their future before July 26, when the German club will begin the preseason, according to the newspaper “Bild.”
If for that moment there isn’t an offer of at least 70 million euros by the Gabonese player, Dortmund will require him to remain in the club with which he has a contract until 2020.
“The club is willing to listen to offers if there is any team that is willing to express interest in Aubamayenag financially,” Hans-Joachim Watzke, managing director of Dortmund, told the newspaper.
A sale for 70 million euros or more would allow Dortmund to play in the transfer market but for this he needs time so he has put the deadline on 26 July.
Aubameyang finished last season as a Bundesliga scorer with 31 goals in 34 games, one more than Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich.
In recent days a transfer of Gabonese to PSG or to Chinese football had been considered, but the two options seem to be out of the question.
