Man Sets Himself Ablaze To Death After His Girlfriend Received A Call From Another Man

Celis Omangi Kiilu set himself on fire after his girlfriend Selina Akoth received a phone call from another man at night.

Celis who is a posho mill attendant was escorting Selina who is a bar attendant. Selina was off work.

The incident which happened in Trans Nzoi County, occurred at around 1.am at night.

Celis confronted Selina and demanded to know who was calling her at that time of the night, a series of serious disagreement ensued which resulted into a tragedy.

The man was carrying some petrol for his machine, which he used to set himself ablaze to death.

Acording to area assistant chief Evans Wandabi, the deceased’s could not be rescued despite being rushed to Kapsara hospital and Kitale hospita.

The remains of his body were taken to Kitale Hospital.
