Kenya’s Dream Starting XI Playing In Europe 2017/2018 Season

Kenya has been a hotbed of football talents since time immemorial. And without a doubt, a good number of Kenyan footballers have invaded the European leagues and made their playgrounds with ease, comfort and hardwork.

Strikers

Divock Origi

Origi is on loan at German’s top club Wolvesburg from England’s top club Liverpool. He has been a force to reckon. He scored 5 goals in 5 games , a hat-trick while at Liverpool in the 2016/2017 season. He was a nominee of the footballer of the month of 2017 September in Bundesliga

Origi yet plays for Belgian national team.

Michael Olunga

He plays for Girona in Spanish top league La Liga. He is the first Kenyan to come head to head with Lionel Messi in history while playing.

Dennis Oliech-Nantes

Oliech has been the talk of bad news, but he is still a force to reckon when it comes to doing clear cut goal finishes.

Nantes is a France side club.

 

Midfielders

Victor Wanyama  

Wanyama is one of the most well known Kenyan footballer in England.

After Manchester United and Arsenal failed to sign him, he moved to Totenham Hotspurs which nearly won the 2015/2016, 2016/2017 league seasons.

McDonald Mariga

Mariga plays for Latina in Italy, he was the first Kenyan to play in Uefa Champions League.

Bernard Mwarome

The young lad plays for Bayern Munich under 19, he is such a promising young man poised to come through the senior team. His future is very bright in the Bundesliga side of German

Ayub Timbe – Genk

Genk is one of the top clubs doing well in the Russian side leagues, And Ayub Timbe has been their to ensure their good form does not go away with the wind

Defenders

Martin Olsson

Marcus Olsson

Martin and Marcus are actually twin brothers in the world of footballer and even in blood. They were born by a Swedish dad and a Kikuyu mum.

Martin plays for Swansea which is a top Premier League club from Scotland whileMarcus Olsson is still at Derby County, another top club in England.

The twins do not play for Harambee Stars

Johana Omollo-Club Brugge

Johana plays for Club Brugge in Belgiam

Goalkeeper

Arnold Origi

Kenyan goal keeper at Lillestrøm Sportsklubb in Norway, another top club in Norway and Europe. Divock Origi came from this club
