President Uhuru Kenyatta snubbed first lady Margaret Kenyatta on the lovers day 14th February 2018 but instead choose to attend Christians holy event dubbed Ash Wednesday.
The lovers day which is popularly known as Valentines is a day reserved for lovers who shared affection with their loved ones.

Ash Wednesday is normally celebrated by christian believes just before Easter Monday to show ushering in of fasting and praying,
It is also called Lent , the day is marked by using special ash that is sprinkled around holy places
