APPLY: Youth Policy Dialogue in Kenya From August 19 to 21, 2014

The Youth Policy Dialogue with the theme ‘Prioritizing an Investment in Youth Development in the Post-2015 Era’ to be held from 19-21 August 2014 in Nairobi, Kenya is accepting nominations of young participant (maximum 2 by one organization). About 200 youth delegates from Africa and outside are expected to attend the Dialogue. The nominating organization must write a letter of recommendation for each of the nominees and the nominees must submit the application form along with the letter by the deadline.

WORTH

Travel costs, accommodation and food is provided for all the African participants.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Nominating youth organization can be a local, national, international and should nominate a maximum of two young people, one male and one female expect for women organization which can nominate both females.
  • Nominees must be actively involved as volunteers, trainers, and/or youth workers.
  • Nominees are to be involved in an organization, project or initiative that aims at the participation of young people in Post 2015 agenda process/decision and policy making.
  • Nominee must be committed to attend the full duration of the meeting
  • Nominee must be a key multiplier playing an active role within her/his youth organization, at national or regional level, and plan to continue this work in the near future
