A top Standard Group reporter who used to report from the Kitui bit has been reduced to a ‘mtu wa mkono’ – personal assistant by his female governor.
Paul Mutua, who hoped to get a greener pasture in the Kitui government was spotted carrying a handbag in a chopper Governor Charity Ngilu used while crisscrossing her county.
The reporter is one of the many journalists who have faced hash reality check after seeking better opportunities in the county government.
Most of them were criticized based on the fact that they were given PR slots to sanitized the corrupt county government
