Three teachers are on the run after smashing testicles of a class one pupil aged at 7 years old.
The boy from Kamukunji Primary School in Nyandarua county. is nursing painful injuries at Nyahururu County Referral Hospital where doctors are trying to save his private parts.
His mum was given a distress call from the headteacher informing her that her kid was in problem.
“When I arrived at the school I found my son unconscious at the staff room with some teachers were trying to give him first aid.
“There were also stains of blood in his school short. I tried to enquire from the teachers what had happened to my son and why they had not taken him to hospital but no one answered me,” said the mother.
His classmates noted that he was found playing in class before he was punished.
“His classmate told me that a standard three class teacher took them to the staff room, after he found them playing in class. At the staff room, my son’s classmate told me, two other teachers joined in punishing them and that one of them kicked my son’s private parts,” she added.
His doctor Dr Wambui Ngatia who examined him, said that the boy’s left scrotum had a 6 cm tear and had been seriously damaged while the rest of other parts were still intact.
“When the boy was brought to the hospital he appeared traumatized and could not give any account of what transpired at the school until he regains consciousness,”said Dr Ngatia.
“For now he is in a stable condition and he is able to walk, pass urine, and feed on his own, but we are preparing to take him for surgery to restore the damaged organs,”added the doctor.
After reporting the issue at Ngano Police Station, the three teachers are under hot pursuit according to Nyandarua West Officer Commanding Police Division, Joseph Cheruiyot.
