DJ Joe Mfalme, a prominent Kenyan entertainer, and his crew members were recently apprehended after an altercation that tragically resulted in the death of Inspector Felix Kelian Kitosi, a DCIO at Kabete Police Station. The incident reportedly began when Kitosi scratched Mfalme’s car, sparking a heated confrontation that escalated to violence.

The altercation took a fatal turn as Kitosi sustained severe abdominal injuries during the altercation and was rushed to Nairobi West Hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, Kitosi succumbed to his injuries, leaving behind a grieving family and sparking a wave of shock and concern within the law enforcement and entertainment communities.

DJ Joe Mfalme allegedly involved in murder

Eyewitnesses revealed that the altercation unfolded at a Kikuyu joint where DJ Joe Mfalme was performing on the night of Saturday, March 16. Kitosi, who had been at the same establishment, accidentally scratched Mfalme’s vehicle while leaving, triggering a reaction from the DJ and his team.

The police initially described the incident as stemming from a “non-injury traffic accident” in Kikuyu market, but subsequent investigations have delved deeper into the circumstances surrounding Kitosi’s death. His brother confirmed that Kitosi experienced severe abdominal pains after the alleged assault and tragically passed away on Friday, March 22, while undergoing treatment at Nairobi West Hospital.

In response to Kitosi’s death, law enforcement authorities have intensified their efforts to unravel the events leading up to the fatal altercation. Reports suggest that additional suspects, including a woman believed to have been present during the incident, are being pursued as part of the ongoing investigation.

This tragic incident adds to the controversies surrounding DJ Joe Mfalme, who has previously been implicated in other scandals. The entertainment industry and law enforcement agencies alike are closely following developments in this case, hoping for clarity and justice for all parties involved.

As the investigation continues and the autopsy to determine the exact cause of Kitosi’s death is conducted, the public awaits further updates on this shocking and deeply concerning incident that has rocked both the music scene and law enforcement circles in Kenya.
