A recently surfaced video has shed light on the intense arrest of DJ Joe Mfalme, who stands accused in connection with the tragic death of a police officer. The footage captures the tumultuous scene as law enforcement officials hurriedly apprehended the popular entertainer, despite his pleas for an audience with their superior.

In the video, DJ Joe Mfalme can be heard repeatedly requesting to speak to their senior, asking, “Mkubwa ako wapi?” (Where is the boss?), but his appeals were met with derisive laughter from the officers. Ignoring his pleas, they swiftly bundled him into a waiting vehicle and shut the doors, signalling a swift and uncompromising arrest.
The events leading up to this dramatic arrest began at Texas Barbeque, an entertainment venue in Kikuyu, where a confrontation unfolded between Mfalme and Inspector Felix Kelian Kitosi, a DCIO at Kabete Police Station. The altercation reportedly stemmed from an incident where Kitosi accidentally scratched the DJ’s vehicle in the parking lot.
The situation escalated quickly, resulting in a physical altercation involving Mfalme, his bouncer, photographer, and driver. Tragically, the confrontation led to severe injuries for Inspector Kitosi, who was rushed to Nairobi West Hospital for treatment. Despite efforts to save him, Kitosi succumbed to his injuries, casting a grim shadow over the incident.
