Kisumu girls was closed indefinitely after students went on rampage on 1st June, protesting over poor diet and decision by school to scrap entertainment.
The rioting students destroyed the principal’s house and vandalised her car to see raise alarm over their plea.
The angry students also stoned the administration block and dining hall breaking window panes.
According to County director of education Sabina Aroni, investigations into the cause of the milieu has been launched.
“For now the students have been told to go home and once investigations are completed and we sit in a meeting we will notify them when to report back,” she said.
