Drama As Siaya Governor Rasanga Skips Security Check

Hosting governor Colonel Rasanga caused drama in Siaya County , K’ogello during Ex US President Barack Obama visit.

Mr. Rasanga demanded his exclusion from the compulsory security checks from junior guards from KK security agency.

The governor threatened to return home if he was not allowed to access the event on grounds of getting frisked. The guards presented him to one of Obama’s Secret Service Agent who later allowed him in on confrimation that he was the hosting governor .

Obama landed on Sunday before heading straight to State House where he met with President Uhuru Kenyatta, he also went ahead to meet NASA leader Raila Odinga at Kempinski Hotel in Nairobi.

The following day on Monday 16th July landed in Kisumu city before he traveled to his fathers home, K’ogello by road.

Obama who traveled without his family, will head on with his itinerary to South Africa where he is expected to give a speech at Mandela Foundation during Mandela’s 100th centenary celebrations
