Cladding a yellow turban, Sonko identified himself with the Asians living in nairobi at Hare Krishna special prayers for the Sikh community in at Siri Gurdwara Ramgarhia Railway temple.
The controversial governor triggered comical tweets which largely seemed to not agree with his mode of dress and English grammar.
On the grammar section, Sonko wrote; I was touched by the plight of elderly woman whose land has grabbed in Loresho.
Instead of
I was touched by the plight of elderly woman whose land was grabbed in Loresho. Or even to sound a master of the queens language he should have wrote
I was touched by the plight of elderly woman whose land had been grabbed in Loresho.
