The largest pizza ever in East Africa was made in Nairobi, breaking an earlier record which had been set by neighboring Uganda.

Here are 5 facts you should know about the record setting pizza made by Heavenly Foods restaurant based along Tom Mboya street.

  1. The pizza made by 5-cheaf team measures a mammoth of 109 by 109 square centimeters.
  2. It was made up of six unique flavors, namely: lamb, mint and spinach, pulled beef and beetroot, grilled choma sausage and pineapple, carribean feel, roast chicken and peppers and heavenly margarita, which is mostly tomatoes and basil
  3. One of the chefs, Andrew Kiguru says that the pizza was made large enough to feed a hungry family and a handful of strangers
  4. Six Kg of flour was used besides another 6kg of cheese.
  5. The dish will empty Ksh.8,500 from your pockets
