Although 2019 is the year of national census across the country, The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) has warned job seekers across the nation over a click of conmen posing as KNBS employees

Take note, KNBS has NOT advertised for 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census jobs – KNBS posted on Twitter.

The fake news of 2019 census recruitment was broken up in 2018 December.

A follow up on the fake link takes one to a generated google.doc website (which is not KNBS official website)

The job applicants are then asked by the conmen to send in their money as a mean of processing their documents before they are called for interviews.

KNBS noted that all their jobs are posted on their official website and thereafter advertised in national newspapers
