Kenyan top music artists Size 8 aka Linet Munyali and her husband DJ Mo were heckled online by Kenyans after they asked for ‘quick forgiveness’ on a lady allegedly raped by fellow gospel artists DK Kwenye Beats and Hope Kid.
The couple were responding to claims by the young lady from Nakuru who claimed through NRG Radio host that she had been forced to have sex without consent.
She also accused them of infecting her with STIs after having unprotected sex.
DJ MO and Size 8 expressed the need for forgiveness, but Kenyans were not pleased with their lack of condemning the actions from careless celebs.
It is well, we are together that caption means a lot . John 8:7. “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone . If you can’t forgive God in heaven cant forgive you too , be wise people . @dkkwenyebeat we are human and still being molded .- DJ MO wrote.
“…but I plead with you all FORGIVENESS is the key to your healing you may not understand what am saying but I pray that God helps you FORGIVE,” Size 8 said in a lengthy Instagram post.
The two accused male musicians have since expressed their sincere apologies
“Following the story going around, I would like first and foremost to repent to God Almighty for living a life of sin.
Secondly, I would wish to apologize to my girlfriend who has been nothing but supportive to me, especially during this difficult season. I would also wish to apologize to the church fraternity, my family, everyone who consumes my music and anyone who looks up to me Am Sorry.”Wrote DK Kwenye Beats
