There was mixed reactions on social media when a Ugandan reporter was forced to kneel down so as to interview President Museveni’s son.

Uganda Broadcasting Corporation’s Gyakenda Semakula was captured by Daily Monitor photographer while kneeling down to interview President Museveni’s first son General Muhoozi Kainerugaba during an event to decorate them after they were promoted recently.

Mugoozi became a Lieutenant General after the event that also decorated other 65 newly promoted officers from the Ugandan army

Social media chatter.

“If his (the journalists) wife and children see that picture, they will know what it means working for the family,” Sylvier Byabisajja posted.

“Since it’s Muhoozi it’s not fine to people, but it’s very okay if it is Kabaka (the King),” wondered Roonix Mutegeki.

“I guess he was kneeling to balance the height,” Albert Nyakahuma suggested.

“What was he supposed to do? Stand and bend pointing his butt(ocks) to who? Muhoozi’s wife or the other man? Some things need common sense,” one Dorothy Bonge asked.

“But what’s strange about a journalist bending to catch a news clip?” asked Justus Amanya.
