Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua found himself on a wrong side of the social media maul when he posted on how diplomats were quickly airlifted to Nairobi for specialized treatments while their driver left in a ‘poorly’ serviced health centre
The driver Joseph Ogutu was left at Machakos Level 5 Hospital while his boses Ms Brenda Muntemba, the Zambian High Commissioner to Kenya and another diplomat Kama Wasa were brought to Nairobi.
They were airlifted to Nairobi by Kenya Airforce Helicopter after they had been brought to Machakos Stadium by Machakos hospital
On the same Tuesday night of accident, other diplomats involved in the accident were Botswana High Commissioner to Kenya Duke Lephoko and his driver who were treated with minor injuries and released.
