The census jobs are out and have already been a motive issue.
According to Gatundu South MP, Census jobs especially the enumerators category should be left for the unemployed Kenyans
This message has been supported by mosy of jobless youths, who think that they are getting unfair competition from the working class such as civil servants and teachers.
“It is saddening to see school principals, civil servants and other senior government officials applying for leave in the month of August to take up jobs as census enumerators. This census is not just a census. It’s supposed to be a youth empowerment exercise,” said Kuria.
MP Kuria also added that he will not allow such an incident to occur if he had the mandate.
“Leave these jobs to our millions of unemployed youth. Shame on you!! How do you compete with your children? When I become President nothing like this will happen,” he added.
