The 6th Annual African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) 2019 is set to take place on October 26th and 27th in Dallas, Texas in USA.
But before that, there needs to be nominees where the winners will be chosen from
AFRIMMA Awards did that by publishing the list of nominees in early 2019 August .
Top of the list is a good number of Kenyan musicians who are up to grab some of the lucrative awards.

- Best Female East Africa-Akothee, Victoria Kimani, Fena Gitu
- Best African Group- Sauti Sol
- Best Newcomer- Naiboi
- Best Gospel- Gloria Muliro, Willy Paul
- Best Live Act- Sauti Sol
- Best Rap Act– Khaligraph Jones
- Best Video Director- Enos Olik
- Best African Dj USA- Dj Fully Focus, Dj Shinski, Dj Poizon Ivy
- Radio/Tv Personality of The Year- Willy Tuva, Jamal Gaddafi
In 2018, top Kenyan rapper Khaligrah Jones won the Best Rap Act of the Year, while gospels singer Papa Dennis won Best Gospel Artiste of the Year during the AFRIMMA Awards 2018.
