The rivalry between many users of Android phones and iPhone phones is much like the fans of some football clubs. Now, a recent study by the School of Psychology at the University of Lincoln in Great Britain can increase the differences already existing between the two groups, rather than building bridges between them.
The consequences of this study reveal that the choice of a particular type of smartphone can tell us a lot about the personality of its owner. And the conclusion was that Android users are more honest and humble than iPhone users, who showed a greater tendency to eccentricity and to feel special.
Another curious conclusion from the study was that women mostly preferred the iPhone than Android. The cause? According to the authors of the study, it is probably due to the fact that to possess this model is usually considered as a sign of status and distinction.
On the other hand, the younger users also opted for the iPhone, while the older ones militated on the Android side.
